Summer Programs

Welcome to Summer Programs

SUMMER programs 2021
are coming!
Registration information coming soon

We don’t know for sure what the world will look like in Summer 2021, but we do know that University Liggett School Summer Programs will be open!

Our goal is for all our Summer Programs to return this summer, but they will likely look a bit different than usual. With that in mind, we are applying our experiences from operating successfully in Summer 2020 to inform our plan for Summer 2021. As always, we are committed to following CDC, federal and state guidelines as we consider programming formats for the warm months ahead.

One thing is certain though: Kids need camp more than ever. COVID and its many restrictions have taken a toll on our children’s well-being. The enriching experience of our Summer Programs can help replenish the social connections, outdoor adventures, and physical fun that they have sorely missed.

Registration will be open in late February or early March — look for more information, soon! We can’t wait to see you in Summer 2021!

Thank you

Summer Programs 2021 Dates

Summer Day Camp will run from June 21 - July 30, 2021

Counselor In Training

Our Counselor-in-Training program is designed for rising 7th and 8th graders. These are kids who are in the transition years, between being a camper, and becoming a potential employee. The CIT program will offer an introduction into the work environment of a camp counselor. They will learn skills that will benefit them, should they apply for Junior Counselor or Counselor positions in the future. The program will promote peer bonding and personal development. CITs will learn through work responsibilities, orientations, scheduled training, as well as rotating mentorships with assigned counselors, and adult activity heads.

All CITs must complete an orientation/training session, given by the camp director, prior to the beginning of camp. The minimum commitment is one full session.

There is an application process in order to be accepted as a CIT. Limited spaces will be available.
